"Wallet are alot like girls. You really have to take good care of, because if you don't, you might lose it.." I managed to grasp the concept. It's the exact same thing.
One day, you just realise its gone. You try looking for it everywhere and even going back to places where you could have lost it. You hold on to some hope that you may be able to get it back. You think really hard, only to come upon grim realisation: it's really gone and that it is time to let go.
After some time, you decided to go out on search for a new wallet. You then come to realise that you don't really want a new one. Its the old wallet that you've lost that really matters to you because of how comfortable it is and the cards, pictures and other stuff in it.
You go out and carry on without a wallet, keeping your cash in your pocket instead and throw away stuff that you would have held on to if you had your old wallet. Gradually, you find a new wallet you fancy and begin to settle in.
You start filling your new wallet with cards, pictures and together with other important stuff. Soon enough, there are as much stuff in your new wallet as the old one. After some time, you feel as comfortable with your new wallet.
You then come to realisation that you've almost forgotten you had your old wallet. You don't remember the feeling of hurt that you felt when you lost it. That is because that wallet is no longer yours. You're no longer holding on. The new wallet you are holding now has all the important stuff in it. It is yours. This time, you tell yourself, you're never losing this one...
